The Federal Budget released on Tuesday 3 May contains cuts of $1.4m in funding that currently keeps community radio stations broadcasting on digital in five capital cities. If we don’t get those funds reinstated, community radio will get left behind on the AM/FM dial. Celebrate May Day 2016 with 3CR on Sunday 1 May. Tune in from 7am to midnight for programs about workplace safety and employment opportunities in the horticultural industry to worker-controlled projects, anti-boss songs and much, much more. Each year on 1 May communities from around the world join in to celebrate the achievements of the labour movement and to show solidarity with the continued struggle for labour rights everywhere.
