3CR Radiothon is coming - starts 3 June

Save the date! 3CR's annual fundraiser is on the horizon. It's a time of tension and celebration as our programmers fundraise their hearts out to keep the station going for another year. Partly we fear this time of year, and partly we love it! We love the rallying of community, and generosity of our listeners, and the commitment everyone shows to strong, independent airwaves. Bring it on! Power Radical Radio, 3-16 June.

Behind Closed Doors is a new show providing a safe space to explore the world of sex work. Your peer hosts will chat with a wide variety of guests, focusing on those voices that are rarely heard. We’ll talk to workers and allies alike, making sure to always put the interests of sex workers first. Our aim is to talk WITH people - not at them! If you’d like to know more, or even feature on our show, please get in touch with us at behindcloseddoors3cr@gmail.com. And be sure to listen in live Thursdays 6-6.30pm or anytime online

And don't forget - our union programs are the backbone of our station, bringing you workers' voices and struggles across a great array of weekly shows - Concrete Gang, Stick Together, MUA, Fire Up, Solidarity Breakfast, and Asia Pacific Currents. Plus our strong union affiliates ETU, AMWU and NUW are also out doing the hard yards for workers' rights.
