We hear a conversation between Nasser Mashni and Robert Martin from 3CR’s Palestine Remembered show. Nasser and Rob speak about Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s plans to illegally annex parts of occupied West Bank as well the lack of dissent from international leaders about Israeli annexation of Palestinian land. 

Max speaks with Thant Myint-U about his recent book ‘The Hidden History of Burma – Race, Capitalism, and the Crisis of Democracy in the 21st Century’. Thant Myint-U is currently the Chairman of U Thant House, a leading education and discussion centre in Yangon.  He is also an Affiliated Scholar of the Centre for South Asian Studies at Cambridge University. He lives in Yangon.

Max speaks with Allison Koenecke, a researcher whose interests lie broadly at the intersection of economics and computer science. Allison shares learnings from her research into the systemic racial bias built into voice recognition software.
