3CR has provided airtime to the struggle for a Free Palestine since it began broadcasting in 1976. In 2023 the coverage increased and included recording the weekly rallies and other events for rebroadcast, as well as extensive coverage across many of our current affairs shows.

The weekly Sunday rallies and marches held at the State Library Victoria, Parliament House steps, Fitzroy Gardens, Treasury Gardens, and Melbourne Victoria's Barracks in  Narrm-Melbourne are organised by Free Palestine Melbourne. The 15th consecutive rally in Naarm-Melbourne was held at the State Library Victoria and Parliament House steps with speeches, commentary, and songs including Nasser Mashni, President of APAN; Tarneen Onus Browne of Warriors of the Aboriginal Resistance; Declan Furber Gillick, Black Peoples Union, and Webb Dock community picket organiser; Tasnim Sammak, Palestinian activist, Free Palestine Melbourne, and Webb Dock community picket organiser; John Smith,  an associate member of the Black Peoples Union, and Webb Dock community picket organiser; young boy who recited 'Dear Palestine' poem, Jaan Schild, anti-Zionist Jew and socialist activist; Clementine Ford, feminist icon, broadcaster, and writer; Ramila Chanisheff, Australian Uyghur Tangritagh Women's Association; Mai Saif, Palestinian activist and ASU member; Dr Samah Sabawi, author, playwright, and poet; Ace and Ava Rose, performing 'Palestine -You Are Not Alone'; and others.

The rally was held at the State Library Victoria and Parliament House steps with speeches and commentary including Mohamed Shorab, a Palestinian from Gaza; Carly, a South African artist and member of African Solidarity Collective Narrm; Mohamed, a South African man who lived through apartheid; Tyrone, a South African musician, and member of African Solidarity Collective Narrm; Bunjileenee Robbie Thorpe, Krautungalung/ Gunnai man, an Aboriginal activist, and 3CR broadcaster; Prof Gary Foley, activist for the Gumbaynggirr people, academic, writer, and actor; David Glanz, an anti-Zionist Jewish activist for refugee rights; Bluey, an Australian animated preschool television presenter; Nour Salman, a Palestinian woman, and media communication specialist; and others.
