Teachers in Colour explores racism, identity and education through the eyes of racialised migrant teachers working in the Australian school system. Co-hosted by education researchers and teacher-educators Nisha Thapliyal and Aaron Teo and community broadcaster Priya Kunjan, Teachers in Colour shares vital insights into how teachers around the country encounter racialisation and deal with difference, both in the classroom and in the staffroom. Teachers in Colour will be broadcast weekly on Mondays at 10.30am from 7 September, sharing conversations about identity and heritage, initial teacher education, racism and representation, pedagogical strategies, and much more.
