16 Days of Activism to End Gender-based Violence

Tuesday, 25 November 2025 - 12:01am to Wednesday, 10 December 2025 - 11:59pm

The 16 Days of Activism is a global campaign that runs from 25 November - the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women, until 10 December - Human Rights Day. This campaign was initiated by activists at the inaugural Women’s Global Leadership Institute in 1991.

In 2025, the 16 Days of Activism to End Gender-based Violence campaign focuses on one of the fastest-growing forms of abuse: digital violence.  It is also a reminder that digital safety is central to gender equality.

3CR programs from across the grid will be presenting on the theme of eliminating gender-based violence in all its forms for this years 16 days.
