Grace speaks with Dr Rikke Bundgaard-Nielsen, teaching associate at University of Melbourne, discussing the need for bilingual teaching of Indigenous language at schools. Rikke is an experimental psycholinguist with a particular interest in acquiring and processing Australian Indigenous languages.

 

 
Grace speaks with Maggie Walter, discussing Indigenous Data Sovereignty, and the negative consequences of AI on Indigenous people. Maggie is a Palawa woman, descending from the pairrebenne people of North Eastern Tasmania and a member of the Tasmanian Aboriginal Briggs family. She is a founding member of the Miaim nayri Wingara Australian Indigenous Data Sovereignty Collective and an active participant in national and international Indigenous Data Sovereignty networks.
