War Costs the Earth

Sunday, 25 March 2018 - 11:00am to 11:30am

In this edition of Earth Matters we look at the costs of war to the environment through habitat destruction, nuclear test fallout, chemical pollution, weather manipulation, depleted uranium, and  CO2 emissions. Our guests unpack the staggering financial cost of war and question the proposed development of a large subsidised weapons export industry in Australia.  Together we broach the question: how we can end the endless wars and build a more positive, sustainable future?
