Celebrating 45 years of Friends of the Earth - Indigenous Solidarity Gatherings 1997 & 1998. Indigenous Sovereignty is at the core of our work. In the early 70s FoE was part of meetings with Traditional Owners in Kakadu. We've tried to keep this as part of all our campaigning work - to various degrees of success. In this episode we talk about the Indigenous Solidarity Gatherings FoE organised in 1997 & 1998. Presenters: Em Gayfer & Megan Williams. Guests: Anthony Amis, Jim Green.

Friday 9:00am to 10:00am
Ratbags, Peaceniks and Agents of Change. Resistance radio that explores the movements that made us, drawing from the activist archives through to voices of resistance today. We take you under the hood to see how collectives and campaigns are formed, mobilise people, work cooperatively to transform systems of oppression and are sustained over time.
