7.27am Sunehra spoke to Beth McCann, Director of the Centre for Family Research and Evaluation at Drummond Street; In light of an recent report released by Family Safety Victoria, experts are saying that Australia is not equipped to keep at-risk families safe during a crisis. Data indicates that family violence spiked during the COVID-19 pandemic and services were stretched in terms of providing the support needed.
