Elizabeth Strakosch - Institute for Collaborative Race Research (ICRR)//

Liz Strakosch is a co-director at the Institute for Collaborative Race Research, which aims to do politically useful, community led research grounded in Indigenous sovereignty, and she joins us today to discuss the Institute's submission co-authored with Sisters Inside to the Commission of Inquiry to examine Queensland Police Service responses to domestic and family violence calling to defund QPS. Liz is a white Jewish heritage settler and an academic at Melbourne University whose work focuses on Indigenous policy, bureaucratic violence and comparative colonialism.//
