Today we'll be hearing updates and discussions around nuclear waste on this continent recorded at the Australian Nuclear Free Alliance (ANFA) meeting held at Pichi Richi park in August.
Facilitating the session is long nuclear free campaigner with the Australian Conservation Foundation and the International Campaign to Abolish Nuclear Weapons Dave Sweeney, joined by: Googatha elder & ANFA President Sue Haseldine; freelance journalist Jorgen Doyle and Arrente representative Jacquita Hayes - both organisers with the Pine Gap Peace Convergence; Mia Pepper from Nuclear Free WA and now Nuclear Free Campaigner with Australian Conservation Foundation; Dimity Hawkins founder of the International Campaign to Abolish Nuclear Weapons and the Nuclear Truth Project
and Yankunytjatjara women Simone Tur and Karina Lester - one of the commissioners for the AUKUS Public Inquiry.
