Anita Morgan joins us to chat about the ways in which the Mooroolbark Community Garden, founded in 2023 with the support of both Local and State governments, has opened itself to connections with diverse community groups, including the adjacent kindergarten, the local Burmese community and Mooroolbark Food Relief. Anita represents the Garden at the Community Garden Network, linking similar gardens in the Yarra Ranges to share ideas and experience.

The Garden has no fences, encouraging local people to enjoy the produce. There is a system of signs indicating which crops are ripe for picking.
