Aiv Puglielli is a member of the Victorian Legislative Assembly representing the North-Eastern Metropolitan Region. He is the Greens Economic Justice & Consumer Rights spokesperson and joined Local Food Connections to chat about the Party's policy of having state owned supermarkets. Aiv explains that the intention is to break the duopoly of Coles and Woolworths, make essential groceries more affordable for people, and open up possibilities to shorten supply chains by sourcing food more locally.
