On today's show you first heard from Rathy who is a Tamil refugee and a wonderful activist who has done lots of work in regards to Visa equality and helping to address violations of Human rights against refugrees and asylum seekers.  Rathy is a speaker at the upcoming event Don't let the racists divide us, building the fight against One Nation organised by Unite Against Racism.  Rathy shared her personal   story. 

The event that Rathy is speaking at is a forum at Trades Hall at 630 pm on Wednesday 9 September. 

The second interview featured Lucy Honan,Australian Education Union state Councillor, member ofthe Rank and File group Fight the crisis and Solidarity Activist who discussed the events im broder detail.  There is also a rally at the State Library at 2 pm on Saturday 24 October 2026  The interview focused on building the movement to stop One nation. 

The final interview was with Rohan simpson, Senior Lawyer at the Human rightsLaw centre.Rohan spoke the Cook's Government's anti Protest bills which raise Constitutional Concerns, and provide extraordinary police powers and stifle peaceful protest.  A powerful connection was made to prisons and the impact on marginalised Communities such as First nations Communities was also discussed.  The Human rights Law centre opposes these bills and wrote a letter to the attorney General Dr. Tony Buti. Rohan made the very important point that the laws are at odds with Australia's International human rights law obligations.
