Throughout the show the Doin' Time show paid tribute to First Nations warrior Uncle Ray Jackson. A segment from a past interview from the Doin Time show in the 1990s with Ray Jackson was played where he spoke about Aboriginal deaths in custody. The Doin' Time show also connected with Carolyn Jackson, daughter of Ray Jackson.
Violet Coco, a Flotilla activist spoke about the need to donate to the Doin' Time show to help women in prison.David Glanz from the Refugee Action Collective spoke about refugees and asylum seekers. Rob Harrison from the Monday Breakfast show joined us and talked about the importance of donating to the Doin' Time show, to tackle ongoing genocide and colonisation. Rob, a past Doin' Time presenter joined the entire show as well.
