Discussion on the NSW COVID-19 outbreak with a criticism of comments made by Health Minister Brad Hazzard who suggests NSW may be forced to live with COVID which as a consequence led to threats by WA premier that they will keep the border with NSW permanently closed unless NSW gets the COVID pandemic under control, Leo commented on how the disproportionate policing of the south-west suburbs in NSW in the current outbreak context is deliberately scapegoating working class people and a way for the government to escape responsibility for their handling of the pandemic.

Interview with Grace Dowling a hospitality worker and member of Hospo Voice about Hospo Voices recent decision to introduce a new tiered membership system in which members pay different fees to access different services which Grace argues is a terrible decision by the union and is a affront to union values around solidarity and how rank & file activists within Hospo Voice are campaigning against the decision and is part of a group of activists who have initiated a open letter around the issue which can be read here. Interview with assistant secretary of the Maritime Union of Australia (Vic) David Ball about the on-going dispute with Svitzer a multinational marine corporation that has reportedly made threats to sack workers, backflipped on agreements and is making more than 30-claims against the workforce which seeks to slash the conditions of employment, in response workers on the site with MUA (Vic) are organising protected industrial action for 12-hours on Friday, 9 July.
