The 80th anniversary of the Nagasaki Peace Memorial Ceremony, to be held on August 9th commemorates the atomic bombing of Nagasaki by United States Military in 1945, which killed an estimated 74,000 people and is meant to honor the victims, express a wish for lasting world peace, and advocate for the abolition of nuclear weapons.
