First Peoples' Assembly of Victoria: What can we learn for a national Voice to Parliament?

Friday, 29 September 2023 - 10:00am to 10:30am

Troy McDonald is a Director on the First Peoples' Assembly of Victoria, which provides a representative Aboriginal Voice to the state government, that is creating pathways for Treaties and Truth-telling.

Troy describes how the Assembly works, and how it might show the way for a Voice to Parliament at a national level. This is particularly relevant for the upcoming referendum for a national Voice on the 14th of October.
