Interview with Karen Williams, Foodbank Coordinator for the Asylum Seeker Resource Centre

Sunday, 9 September 2018 - 10:00am to 10:30am
Celine Yap and Karen Williams

The ASRC Foodbank operates as a free grocery store for asylum seekers who have nowhere else to turn for food and basic shopping items.

The foodbank provides food for over 700 individuals a week! If you would like to donate to the foodbank, it's a really easy process for anyone who would like to help, just throw in a few extra cans of tinned tomatoes or lentils into your next grocery shop, and deliver to the ASRC Level 1, 218 Nicholson St, Footscray, Victoria. Or alternatively, there is an online Coles option which will deliver it for you. Check out the details on their website asrc.org.au, or their facebook page www.facebook.com/pg/ASRCFoodbank.

This is the list of things they need!
