Solidarity with unpaid workers caring for Country

Saturday, 1 May 2021 - 10:00am to 10:30am
Regina McKenzie at Hookina Springs, Flinders Ranges SA

On this radioactive show, we take a look at the work done by aboriginal people around Australia caring for Country. This work is not only mostly unpaid, but also comes at enormous personal cost. While on May Day people around the world stand in solidarity with workers, it is important that unpaid workers are also remembered and acknowledged. We hear from Kuyani woman Regina McKenzie about her work and why Aboriginal knowledge should be respected.
