If you're involved somehow in Melbourne's underground indie rock scene you're probably closer than six degrees of separation to Loki Lockwood.

The proprietor of Spooky Records, live music engineer, and musician he's worked with everyone interesting including Roland S Howard, Ollie Olson, Spencer P Jones, Brian Henry Hooper, Tony Cohen and many more.

He's just released a pair of albums and a single as Velatine with quite a different sound than he's previously known for.

The new collections Store Atmospherics and The Trap plus the single We are, are you alright are the result of a long learning curve and his immersion with a new generation of electronic sampling machine.

The music has been gaining interest and support from around the world and Music journalist Robert Brokenmouth says that the albums are reminiscent of Laibach crossbred with John Carpenter's 1970's soundtracks but there's so much more to it than than that.
