Drain Spelunker Standing in a concrete junction that forks into two drains

In this episode we conclude the first story of Suburban Hellscapes, Armstrong Creek Urban Develpment Area. We also have a wonderful contribution from drain spelunkers Eemai and Lippy.

Outside the drain with styrofoam packaging and empty clay bags in the water way. They appear to left from the construction 2 years ago.

Sparrows nest built into the side of the drain. Hopefully they survived the recent rain :/

The gatic with rotting scrap wood supports.

The scrapwood gatic above ground.

The deterioration of the drains moving through the drain.

Styrofoam mixed in with the concrete breaking apart and exposing the rebar.

Music:

Acoustic guitar intro and background music by Amy Ciara

Kill Your Lawn and Kick Your Fence short song by Tilde Joy and Amy Ciara.

The Image reads Kill Your Lawn and Kick Your Fence. The letters are cut out from from magazines. There are more magazine cut outs of Kookaburra's and an Owl with flowers groing out of their heads in a psychadelic fashion. The background is cardboard spray painted with orange and green. There are cut outs of bush fires and an 'idealic' suburban lawn.
Friday 9:00am to 10:00am
Why are we so behind on greening our cities and suburbs? What happened to communities, where truly no one is left behind? Where is justice for communities that have been abandoned? Kill Your Lawn and Kick Your Fence, talks to and with communities, about how we can learn to share and care for each other and our beloved planet.
