This week's episode features speeches from Khyl Ramos and Yong Feng at the Climate Debt, Ecosocialism and the Global South panel, during the 2026 Ecosocialism conference, run by Green Left, Socialist Alliance, Resistance Books and Links Journal. 

Khyl Ramos is a community development practitioner working on climate justice, labor rights, and grassroots capacity building in the Philippines.

He is the Deputy Project Manager at Transform Asia Gender and Labor Institute, Inc. and Youth Coordinator for Partido Lakas ng Masa (PLM - Party of the Labouring Masses).

He is also active in local and international environmental movements, drawing on Marxist political ecology, human geography, and Global South realities to confront capitalist-induced metabolic rifts.

Yong Feng previously worked as an architect and returned to Singapore last year after completing a Master in political ecology, environmental justice and degrowth in Barcelona. He currently works in book publishing and organises with Singapore Climate Rally as well as the independent media network NIMBUS.
