Mai was a co-MC at the Palestine Rally at STate Library, Sunday 19 April 2026 (the 50th Anniversary of Palestinian Prisoners day) She talked about the day and her family history with incarceration in Palestine, and some context for today. A content warning for listeners:

- David Shoebridge, (NSW Senator & The Greens 'spokesperson for defence') at a public forum called 'War OR Public Housing' in Melbourne a couple of weeks ago, arguing that the Government does indeed have enough funding to pay for adequate and dignified public housing, and talking about Defence Minister Richerd Merles' address to the Press Club - Listen in to Solidarity Breakfast this Saturday to hear another presentation from the event... - Paulie Stewart from the 'Painters & Dockers', longtime supporter of workers' struggles here and abroad.  Paulie's curating the May Day Solidarity Gig for Timor-Leste and Union Aid Abroad at the MUA headquarters (ireland St, West Melbourne)
this Sunday after the may day rally from 3.30pm,
The ticket ($100 per person) includes food by the Timorese community & drinks by the MUA (beer, wine & soft drink), and raising funds as part of their yearly solidarity efforts.
