We chat with filmmaker Kasimir Burgess about Iron Winter, a chronicle that takes us into Mongolia's Tsakhir Valley, following the exploits of Batbold, 18, and his friend Tsaaganna, entrusted with safeguarding a herd of 3,000 horses during the deadliest winter on record. It is a coming of age tradition which has been in process for 100s, if not, a thousand years. With climate change everything is at stake. There will be a screening and Q&A at the Classic 14th March 4pm and at the Thornbury Picture House 22nd March. General release 19th March.
