  Last Friday Costain’s Knox BLF members voted to walk off the job for 72h in response to MBA Executive Director David Murden’s press release to the ABC, which claimed union officials were intimidating members to support the log of claims. They sent a telegram demanding apology and resignation of Mr Murden, and disputing his allegations.
  
  NSW Updates: 35-hour weeks and afternoon smoko taken on various jobs over 6 sites.
  
  WA Updates: moves afoot to deregister BLF, reading telex on the matter from 27/6/1977, in which a general stoppage is called by various unions.
