International Day Against Homophobia, Biphobia, Intersexism, and Transphobia

In our federal election eve episode to celebrate International Day Against Homophobia, Biphobia, Intersexism, and Transphobia, our guests shine the light on LGBTIQ+ socio-political issues.

James speaks with Karen Parker of Queerspace, Drummond Street Services, and the LGBTIQ+ Safe Housing Network, about LGBTIQ+ homelessness, its causes, and her insights and accounts of life for queer people without homes.

James speaks with Tristan Meecham of All the Queens Men about the monthly dance club for LGBTIQ+ Elders that is open to all members of the community and provides a forum for people to connect with LGBTIQ+ Elders in a social setting.

The next dance is this Sunday, 19 May at the Melba Spiegeltent, 2-4 pm. Details
