Victor Stranges is a Melbourne musician who’s roots are in the punk scene drumming in the late ’80’s in underground punk group Drunk ’n’ Disorderly a band that were influenced by The Clash & Stiff Little Fingers and gained a reputation supporting bands like Weddings Parties Anything and The Johnnys. Victor switched to guitar in Victor Stranges & The Methinks, the band he formed in the late 1990’s.

He subsequently built a recording studio working as producer and musician on other people’s records and recording and releasing his solo album Hello Me To You to great acclaim.

Victor Stranges has been busy playing and recording with an ever evolving selection of great musicians and playing live, interpreting songs by Elvis Costello.  The latest series of shows, The Songs Of Elvis Costello with his band Victor Stranges and The Futurists plays a special showcase at the Wesley Anne in High Street Northcote on Sunday 17th December at 3.00PM
