And this one's introduced by... Luke Sinclair & Shaun Feeley from The Idle Hoes introducing tracks from their album Tomorrow Morning

Thursday, 5 May 2022 - 11:30pm to Friday, 6 May 2022 - 12:30am
Planet X and This One's Introduced By... 3CR with Luke Sinclair & Shaun Feeley

The Idle Hoes were a great sounding alt-country, rock-folk band who released 2 albums and an EP.The Overflow EP in 2005, Little Victories in 2007 and Tomorrow morning in 2012. The band found inspiration in artists ranging from Bob Dylan to John Williamson and whose lyrics traverse cultural icons from hemispheres north and south, from North Melbourne to the Netherlands, from hip hop to Willie Nelson. Yet whose heart, in the spirit of artists such as Paul Kelly, Tim Rogers and Slim Dusty, remains unmistakably, unapologetically Australian.

Tomorrow Morning was written, produced and arranged by Shaun Feeley & Luke Sinclair who  also both played guitar and sang on the album, with a large contingent of terrific musicians including string arrangements by Paddy Mann, Tracy McNeil on backing vocals, and Chris Altmann who played piano and and pedal steel.

The songs on Tomorrow Morning  have a deeply emotionally rich warm feeling to them, quite a high mark in songwriting, performance and production.
