Geoffrey O'Connor is the guitarist and lead vocalist of Crayon Fields, a Melbourne-based band signed to Chapter Music. Over the years, they've released three albums and several EPs. In addition to his work with the band, O'Connor has also released a solo album under the moniker Sly Hats and four more under his own name.

His latest release, I Love What We Do (2025), is unabashedly romantic, brimming with sincerity and free from any cynicism. Notably, more than half the tracks feature the word "love" in their titles. The album can be described as chamber pop—lush, melodic, and poetic, with each song beautifully recorded in O'Connor's own studio.

Geoffrey possesses a captivating voice that recalls the smooth croon of Chris Isaak and Marc Almond, with subtle nods to the timeless style of Frank Sinatra. The music envelops you, with delicate touches like the sound of rain and the ticking of a clock, enhancing the mood and adding depth to the songs.
