Sue Bolton, Merri-Bek councillor reports on the council meeting that took place on April 12 where councillors voted to declare Merri-Bek a nuclear free zone and oppose the purchase of nuclear-powered submarines by the Albanese government.

Discussion of the recent moves by the State Labor government in Victoria to axe more than 10% of the public service and it's implications for workers and how it represents a attack on public services.
