On this week's episode of the Doin' Time show, Marisa had an extended interview with Marie Mitchell a proud Yorta Yorta woman from the Victorian Aboriginal Legal Service,
Director of Community Justice Programs. Marie joined Marisa on the show  to discuss deaths in custody, and Vals' services. Truth-telling, particularly in the context of overpolicing,  Aboriginal deaths in custody, child protection, the Yoorook report and the impacts of colonisation were discussed. Marie shared some of her personal story as well.


Marisa then spoke to Brett Collins who updated listeners on the work of Justice Action, with a particular focus on Youth Justice and computers in cells to aid with education and external counselling.
