Monitoring of police powers during Covid-19

The doin time show interviewed Anthony Kelly from Fleington Kingsington community Legal Centre about increased police powers during the Coronavirus Pandemic. The interview focused on particular concerns rgarding the targetting of vulnerable communities. A website for reporting incidents about increased police powers was also discussed, as well as the human rights charter and the arrest of a Refugee Action Colrctive, activist Chris Breen during a safe protest, regarding the release of Asylum seekers from the Mantra Hotel in Preston! 
Next, Aran from the Tamil Refugee Council was interviewed about the Tamil family who are languishing on Manus Island, and the violation of hxan rights regarding these Asylum seekers. Conditions for Tamils overseas were also discussed.
