Communities across Australia are caring for one another by staying at home to flatten the curve, however extractive capitalism continues on in a business as usual fashion in so-called Australia and across the world. On today's show host Em Gayfer chats with Babs Rapeport about the ways in which State of Emergency powers can be used by governments to expand colonial, capitalist pursuits. Em also spoke with Cam Walker about some of the worrying environmental decisions that have been made since the start of the Covid19 crisis, and some of the ways that Friends of the Earth has been involved in looking forwards to the world we want to create post Covid19.
