Jordan Peterson, Canadian psychologist, Youtuber, public speaker and best selling author of the self help book ‘12 Rules to Life’, has cultivated a passionate - albeit mostly male - global fanbase. Peterson recently visited Australia for a tour of sold out shows and a high profile appearance on the ABC's Q&A program. However, his gender essentialism, views on morality and ethics and his individualistic wordview and advice have attracted substantial amounts of criticism. So how have his ideas circulated and been communicated in the media and in the public arena more broadly?
