Journalism is going through an existential crisis, of identity and possibly even of survival. Public interest journalism - investigative reporting that needs time, determination and most of all money to shine light especially into the dark corners of the corporate world and the political class.
Johan Lidberg teaches in the journalism program at Monash University. He’s worked in print and broadcast journalism as reporter, producer, presenter, foreign correspondent and news editor, and he's been watching the crisis unfold. This week, he provides his perspective.
