CICD will celebrate its 60th Anniversary - 60 years of active campaigning on peace and nuclear disarmament, social justice and much more……

There will be number of speakers who will be sharing their memories and activities with CICD, there will be music food and drinks.

Today Bevan Ramsdan and Andrew Fullerton examined the impact on the Australian community of United States imperialism. They looked at the US-Australia military alliance which has involved us in US-instigated wars, has resulted in us having US military installations on our soil, was a major factor in the 1975 dismissal of the Whitlam ALP government and the implications on the Alliance of signing and ratifying the United Nations Treaty to Ban Nuclear Weapons, whenever this is done.
