- In the Matildas friendly against England we observed three symbolic gentures: taking the knee, purple tape on the left wrist, and some missing names on the jerseys. We ask, "Can you overdo the symbolic gestures?"
- The Stawell Gift being a handicap event lends itself to a 'mixed race' where men and women can all race against each other. This was done for the Backmarkers Race. We loved it. Why can't more sports do this?
- The upcoming gather round in Adelaide is a great opportunity for Melbournians to get out and see some local footy, VFL, VFLW etc
- WSL Surfing is in Australia in April. We look at the results of the Bells competition at Winki Pop and look forward to Margaret River.
- Our song of the week is the 1964 Jazz version of the Western Bulldogs theme.
