Tarabeat is a music ensemble - or Takht - that derives its sound from the musical traditions of the Arab region, and the wider Middle East.

On today’s show Marroushti will be chatting to Camille @k1000_94 from @tarabeat_project about their upcoming Album! 

After many years of delay due to different members of Tarabeat migrating from Lebanon, their first Album is being released. This album emphasises the experimentation with middle eastern instruments and synthesisers, with the purpose of finding a contemporary sound that is still faithful to the centuries old Maqam system.
