We’re really excited for our show today with Lorena Walker @dj_lore85 who will be introducing us to some of her favourite Black First Nation music.

Lorena Walker is a proud Arrente and Luritja women born and raised in (Mparntwe) Alice Springs. Lorena has had previous roles working with different organisations in Central Australia but found her interest working in Aboriginal Media working as a Broadcaster with CAAMA Radio, TV programmer at ICTV before moving to Melbourne and working at 3KND Radio @3kndradio . Lorena now works at VALS in the Community Engagement Team providing Legal Education to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people across the state.

Working in radio and taking an interest in DJing and music and loves neo soul, hip hop, rap, Reggae, rnb, and black First Nations artists.
