The Precarious Migrant Worker with Panos Theodoropoulos

Wednesday, 23 July 2025 - 7:30am to 8:00am

Speaker Panos Theodoropoulos will discuss major themes in his research, drawing from his immersive ethnographic research inside the UK’s warehouses, factories and kitchens. He explores how precarity shapes migrant lives — and how resistance to neoliberal systems still emerges from the ground up.

Theodoropoulos will reflect on the intersections of migration, precarity, bordering and organising.
