Soft speaking enigmatic Melbourne troubadour, Michael Plater now based in the UK has described himself as an experimental/folk/psych/indie/noir musician.
He’s released some 30 albums on such UK labels as Reverb Worship, Hypostatic Union and Dub Cthonic.

His latest album "Ghost music" out now on Essex esoteric label Hypostatic Union is inspired by Australia’s dark history and the myths, folklore and legends of his adopted home in Cornwall.
The album is a collaboration with UK musicians John Hannon (Liberez, Woe) and Stafford Glover (Enclosed & Silent Order, Extreme Noise Terror).
