Victorian Seniors Festival podcast: Museum Undone

Museum UNDONE was a playful encounter with the Kyneton Museum collection, engaging with history and its gaps, as part performance, part exhibition. Created by cross disciplinary artists and Metanoia Theatre, the work was an immersive choose-your-own journey through collective possibilities for an imagined future.

Performers (Alexandra Harrison, Jannete Hoe, Greg Ulfan, Görkem Acaroğlu, Yogashree Thirunavukarasu, Sermsah bin Saad) performed across the Kyneton Museum, in both indoor and outdoor locations. Internationally acclaimed local visual artist, Desmond Lazaro re-curated the existing collection to immerse audiences in an exploration of our past, present and future. Taungurung artist Maddi Moser created projections to cover the walls and ceilings both inside and outside the building, and local sound artist Kirri Buchler created soundscapes to enhance the experience. Taungurung man Dennis Batty provided cultural consultation to project.

This episode features an interview with Creative Director of Metanoia Theatre, Görkem Acaroğlu, with original sound design by Kirri Buchler and the recorded voices of Janette Hoe, Alexandra Harrison, Sermsah Bin Bin Saad, and Sofia Chapman.
