We hear an excerpt of Aunty Glenys' Watts submission to the Yorrook Justice Commission.
The Yoorrook Justice Commission gives Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people a platform to tell their stories and bear witness to Australia's atrocities. The submissions will document the effects of colonisation, bring healing and reforms.
Also giving evidence are legal centres, human rights organisations and advocacy groups. The commission was a result of the tireless efforts of the community and the First Peoples’ Assembly of Victoria.
