Improving Our City's Bus Network

Wednesday, 1 November 2023 - 9:00am to 10:00am
A group of people wearing colourful clothing standing in the sun in front of an empty demolition site holding placards that read "the west deserves the best", "we want better buses!" and other signs too small to read.

This Transport Week we speak with regular transport commentator John McPherson, and also with Friends of the Earth's Sustainable Cities Campaign Coordinator Elyse Cunningham about their Better Buses Campaign in the wake of 2023 Transport Equity Week, and why a comprehensive overhaul of our bus networks is necessary for sustainability and reliable accessibility to all services and spaces for those living in our city's most ill-resourced local government areas.
