Han Aulby, Executive Director of The Centre for Public Integrity about their work in transparency and accountability of our governmental bodies, their petition for Australian parliament to resume sitting in the wake of COVID-19, and the need for an independent commission against corruption.

Later, we speak with Emma, a delegate for the Independent Education Union (Vic-Tas) about organising teachers in the ELICOS (English Language Intensive Courses for Overseas Students) industry in the wake of the novel coronavirusand more broadly, Workers Organising Resistance during the pandemic.

We also discuss in more depth the layoffs and deterioriating of working conditions in the private education sector as a response to international students leaving the country and being left with no governmental support.
