Jasper Peach is a Non-Binary Trans caucasian person with short pink spiky hair, wearing a grey shirt with a dark collared shirt over the top, they stand smiling against a cherry blossom tree outside.

‘There aren’t universal words for parents who don’t identify as mum or dad, but there are some pretty wonderful examples out there,’ — You’ll Be A Wonderful Parent, a book of advice and encouragement for rainbow families by trans, non-binary & disabled writer Jasper Peach.

Jasper (They/Them) is a speaker and parent, who is passionate about equitable access and inclusion, focused around the dismantling of misplaced shame via storytelling.

Becoming a parent can be more challenging if you don’t see yourself in mainstream parenting culture. But alphabet soup families are also in the unique position of being able to intentionally build their own family structure and create an environment of huge love and belonging for their children.

Jasper is today’s guest on our radio show Brainwaves where they will talk about their new book for rainbow parents of all kinds.

Join host Flic Manning and tune in at 5pm (AET) on @3CR Community Radio!
