A Father & Daughter Chat About Mental Health after a Heart Attack

Wednesday, 1 February 2023 - 6:00pm to 6:30pm
Neil Hunter is a caucasian man with grey hair and a moustache, wearing a powder blue collared shirt and a navy blue tie, he smiles at the camera against a white wall.

‘Keep working’ and ‘don’t withdraw from life’ says Neil Hunter, a management consultant who suffered a heart-attack at age 58. He had no known symptoms and regular health check-ups.

Almost 11 years later, the now 69-year-old is living with impacts it’s had on his physical and mental health. Whilst still a ‘work in progress’ Neil is happy that he asked for help early on.

Today on our radio show Brainwaves, Neil shares his journey of recovery to help others in the same situation with his daughter, the show's host, Flic Manning!
