The government of President Duterte in the Philippines has been one of the most repressive and murderous in that country's history. This has had a devastating effect on working class communities and organisations.

We talk to Ness Gavanzo, an activist with the Filipino feminist movement Gabriela, on the situation for women in the Philippines and what is being organised for International Womens Day.
